Dear Friends,
Over winter break, John and I went South for a change of scenery. I missed the fun life we’ve made in Connecticut, but the opportunity to rest was important for both of us. For almost a month we enjoyed, quite literally, a change of pace.
John is managing multiple jobs plus freelancing these days, and I am at Yale, where people do “busy” better than anywhere I’ve seen! We love it and are grateful for every opportunity, but in this ever-evolving, dual-ambition, singular-vision marriage, it is clear that when life becomes a relentless sequence of logistical hoops to jump through, just to get everything done, much risks being lost.
